“What a wildly wonderful world, God! You made it all, with Wisdom at your side, made earth overflow with your wonderful creations.”
- Psalm 104:24, The Message

November 12& 13
I will be speaking at the Wooster Grace Brethren Church, Wooster Ohio
Theme: Beyond Tradition--A Retro Inspired Christmas

Welcome Friends...

Well, yesterday our four month-old puppy decided to help smother the green grass and mulch with pristine white paint. I absent-mindedly left the roller within her reach. Sigh. She even managed to give her black paws a solid first coat. I think the little thing was just trying to help out.

It seems the last few days have been a whirl. We moms know school shopping—mixed with a little last minute painting—can zap a great deal of our mental and physical energy.  So, unless your one of those moms who stocked up the year before, you can run into quit a traffic jam.

MarkersNeedless to say, my latest list of school supplies has me wondering just how many Kleenex one child needs to blow a nose the size of my thumb. I’m not sure, but I think I bought enough tissue to stop-up Niagara Falls. So glad I found a sale. I mean, in case Niagara would break loose in the classroom.

And there is no doubt I lost more than a few brain cells while staring at the endless varieties of Magic markers. Markers that change colors. Markers that do or don’t wash out. Hmmm. Still can’t figure out why anyone would want purple passion on their shirt for life.

Anyway, this afternoon I sifted aisles stocked high with markers of all colors and sizes. Didn’t find the ones I needed. But I did discover a few that smelled good enough to eat! I couldn’t help but salivate over the yellow banana-bay. I contemplated stuffing a few in my purse to munch on before I hit the next store—yummy!

I can sleep easy tonight though. If I happen to get too stressed with trying to keep it all together, I bought a bushel of glue sticks—maybe that’ll do it.

So, it’s with great excitement that I welcome you to join me on this journey. And even though life can get a little “zooey,” my hope is that not only can I offer you a few light- hearted chuckles, but also show you a glimpse of God’s undeniable goodness. And as far as being an all together woman? Well… I’m not sure about that. But I am “altogether” certain God has great things in store.  Plus, I have plenty of glue sticks to go around

Love and Blessings,

Beth
